About Experiments in Coalition:

Experiments in Coalition intentionally brings together different communities around shared goals and intentions: artists and audiences, students of the University of Michigan and artists based in southeastern Michigan/the Midwest, and Midwestern artists and their like-minded contemporaries outside the region/across the U.S. We consider these "experiments in coalition," drawing on Black feminist and queer histories that acknowledge coalition as a community formation that brings together people of different backgrounds in ways that are never neat, but that are deeply necessary.
